Otawara, Tochigi, Japan｜Sakaeya

I was told that there was an interesting shop in Nozaki, so I went there. Quite a lot of people ordered lunch, and I ordered it too. That day's lunch was fried horse mackerel (with rice), half udon and half soba in a bowl, kakiage, and dipping sauce in a separate bowl. It said mixed on the menu, but when I asked for it, I was told it was a mixed serving😅

My favorite is 'Hitashi Soba' from the northern region of Tochigi Prefecture, which is eaten by dipping it in a light soup. I've eaten at several restaurants, but since discovering our restaurant, I've stopped opening new restaurants. The lunch bowl changes daily.

Soba set meal 850 yen! This day it was fried horse mackerel. The fried horse mackerel was also fluffy and delicious~☺️
