We had a wonderful experience here! We did the soba making class and then went across the street to catch fish. The chef then cooked our soba and caught fish and served it to us for lunch. It was delicious! Every person at the restaurant and fishing area were so friendly and really helpful in teaching us how they do their craft. The scenery next to the river is so beautiful. One of the best experiences we’ve had in the country!

Order the ultimate Tenmori soba 1550 yen. The buckwheat noodles are medium and thin, and are limited to 90%. The soup is refreshing and I like it. Tempura is crispy and served with salt. Satisfied with a seat with a good view along the river.

Visited on a weekday in May 2022. The view from the cafe space with an open terrace was superb! There are no windows, so you can feel the breeze. Unfortunately, the weather was bad on the day I visited and I could not use it. It seems that you can enjoy lunch and cafe slowly here on a sunny day! For those who want to enjoy lunch at a seat with a good view Reservations are possible, so we recommend making a reservation. Salt-grilled sweetfish (550 yen) with bottled beer (I was out of glass draft beer, sorry) It was delicious! Hot spring tiger puffer fish (the first tiger puffer fish farmed in hot spring water in Japan. The tora puffer fish dishes eaten in the woodlands are exquisite) and the specialty [Gozen Iwasoba] Special coffee is recommended by the shop. I definitely want to eat it if I have the chance.
