More Comments at Google MapThe tempura udon was sold out last time, so this time I came just in time for the store to open (11am). There were already 5-6 cars parked in the parking lot. A system where you can order tempura udon and chilled tempura tanuki udon (limited time menu) and have your own oden brought to you while you wait. I was excited about the size of the kakiage I wanted to eat, and the udon noodles were chewy and just the way I like them (green onions, shichimi, grated ginger, and sesame seeds are to my liking). The oden skewers are even more delicious when you drizzle them with miso sauce. It was pleasant to eat while watching (and listening) to the handmade udon being made in front of me.
I never thought the day would come when I would give a ramen shop 5 stars... It's awesome to say the least. As for the taste, it's as everyone says, so other than that. First of all, we arrived at 11:15 and there was already a wait. But it spins horribly fast. Customers should be considerate of those waiting and leave quickly. All of the staff members are elderly mothers, but I was surprised at how quick and efficient they were at bashing each other. I also like the attention to detail like the fact that Custer's black pepper comes with a lid. (Photo attached) There is also a multi-purpose toilet. It's not quite an individual shop. It was the best ramen shop in the past.
Visited on August 13, 2023 A famous udon restaurant near Kamogata I.C. The specialty is tempura udon. I stopped by after a long time on my way home. I visited late today, close to closing time, so tempura was sold out. I ordered beef noodles instead. I prefer Sanuki udon to tempura udon. This time I also ate oden for the first time. It's a style where you take what you like and eat it with miso sauce. The beef tendon was delicious with soft meat with few crunchy spots. I wish the eggs had a little more flavor. It feels good to add miso, so maybe this is good. The tempura udon will end as soon as it runs out, so if you're looking for it, it's safe to arrive at the opening time.
