More Comments at Google MapVisited from Osaka based on word of mouth on Google Maps between watching children's soccer games. The interior of the restaurant is a town cafeteria with an atmosphere of the Showa era. The food is delicious no matter what you eat, as other people have said! And even coffee after dinner! The couple who manage the shop are also very friendly and a wonderful shop full of hospitality. If I had the opportunity to come to Okayama again, it was a restaurant I definitely wanted to come back to.
I went there today at noon. Inside the store, you can feel the good old days of the Showa era. The cold barley tea tasted like something my grandma would make, and it was delicious. I ordered a replacement 😁 I ordered Katsudon. It was delicious and gentle on my 50 year old stomach. It's a good value for money at 650 yen, which includes miso soup with clams, pickles, pickled daikon radish, after-dinner coffee, and onigiri rice crackers. A grandmother-like person was in charge. Everyone, please go and give it to me 💪 Please stay healthy and continue to provide delicious food.
I ordered the Karaage set meal (800 yen). Comes with miso soup, small side dishes (omelet, boiled bamboo shoots, boiled squid), and pickles. Not only the fried chicken but also the boiled bamboo shoots were delicious. Coffee and rice crackers were served after the meal. While eating, I chatted with the owner's lady. It was a good restaurant that I would like to go to again.
