Takahashi, Okayama, Japan｜Kawakamiya

This is a small local restaurant outside the station. We stopped for lunch which was of great value and very delicious. The google earth picture of this place makes it look dated, but looks like they renovated and is nice inside and out. It's right across the street from the train station, you can't miss it. Enjoy!

I went on a Sunday afternoon. It was very close to Bitchu Takahashi Station and convenient to go back to the station from Matsuyama Castle by taxi. I had the daily set meal (hamburger), and the children had zaru udon and ramen. They are all delicious. The soft serve ice cream was also very delicious. At the seat next to me, a traveler was drinking hot sake and beer.
