Kurashiki, Okayama, Japan｜Cantina Tomi

We visited Shimotsui on March 24 and enjoyed a delicious lunch at Cantina. The seafood was as fresh as can be and our servers were excellent as well! Located next to the Shimotsui Shipping Agent Museum, Cantina is a wonderful place to taste the best of what Kurashiki has to offer.

The server was reaaally nice and kind. I am a Moslem and I visited this place with my friends (Japanese & American). I am the only one having food restriction and when I told my Japanese friend, the server quickly changed the dessert for me without extra charge! They also made sure at least twice if I was okay eating the food they served. Very nice place! Also, the place was cozy, a bit formal but I guess it depends on who you're with, too! And the food was freshly served! I ordered sashimi and it was hands down the best sashimi I've ever tasted (not like I ever taste it on any other place xD). Wouldn't trade this first sashimi eating experience somewhere else!

I often use it for lunch. I wonder if your family does this? The soft atmosphere of the ladies in the hall, the cheerful greetings of the kitchen staff, and the delicious, carefully prepared food keep me energized throughout the afternoon. I always choose pasta lunch or seafood bowl. For pasta lunch, you can choose from two types of pasta. The appetizers are hearty and delicious with a small soup and bread. Seafood bowl comes with red soup stock. You can choose vinegared rice or white rice. The sashimi listed is fresh and the type changes depending on the day, so I look forward to it. recommendation!
