Okayama, Japan｜Takamitchan

A restaurant located along National Route 30. I've had the opportunity to go there several times, but I just assumed it was an okonomiyaki restaurant. When I entered the store during lunch time on a public holiday, a person who appeared to be the master came out of the way and guided me to the parking space. There were two choices: Yakiniku bowl and set meal, so I asked for the set meal. The variety of items is eye-catching, including seared and sashimi of mackerel and sautéed beef sprinkled with gold leaf, small bowls, and fruits. Also, everything is well-seasoned and the rice (five-grain rice) is a bit small, so I think it's okay for women to eat as well. As mentioned in other comments, the soup is a bit sweet and spicy, similar to a thick udon noodle soup, which may be controversial, but I felt that the overall balance of the dish was not bad.
