Tamano, Okayama, Japan｜Osaka-ya

Magically slipped into this sweet little spot on a blisteringly hot day in Uno. It’s run by women and also cooked by women so I immediately was thrilled. I am gathering they are related but maybe that’s a story that makes me happy! The menu was filled with so many things I wanted to eat. The curry donkatsu was so good. Their miso soup rich and flavourful. A gingery stir fried pork was insane. Beer icy cold and a great meal was had. I would definitely come back and maybe I can!

Words can not explain how great the food is in this little restaurant. It doesn't look like anything special from the outside, just a regular place with a few tables. But when you taste what they serve you'll be blown away. Had two of the best meals I've had i Japan here. Just simply a wonderful place to have really really great Japanese food!!

Simply great food and atmosphere. Loved the little touches of figurines and art on the walls. I guess this made it feel more homey and the staff were lovely. I would definitely come back and try more things on the menu :)
