Takahashi, Okayama, Japan｜Kappō Uno

I visited for lunch on a weekday. Make a reservation by phone 3 days in advance. When making the reservation, I informed them that I would be traveling with my young son. We were shown to a private table and a cushion was prepared to raise the height of the chair for my son. Then I looked at the menu and ordered. I ordered kakiage udon (comes with rice balls) for my son, but the staff later suggested, ``If your child is ordering kakiage udon, would you like a smaller kake udon?'' So I asked for that. My son also likes rice, so I asked him to include rice balls. I ordered the tempura bowl and my wife ordered the seafood pickled rice bowl. All the flavors were delicious. The soup stock of the kake udon was so delicious that my son ate it all. They also enjoyed drinking the 100% orange juice that was served with them. The clerk (landlady?) was also very kind and took care of us, making it a wonderful lunch. On the way home, the host also greeted me cheerfully. There were several other customers besides us, which shows that it is a popular restaurant. There aren't many restaurants near Bitchu Takahashi Station, but this one is highly recommended.

I wanted to eat fish so I went there. Anyway, the food is delicious. Especially fish dishes. Very satisfied.

The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, and although the fried chicken was served with sweet and sour sauce, the meat was tender and it was a very delicious lunch. I would definitely like to try other menu items as well.
