I heard on social media that the mapo tofu lunch was delicious, so I visited for lunch on a weekday. Ordered the mapo tofu set meal. Free refills of soup, salad, etc. and rice 🍚 for ¥850-👍 Mapo tofu is spicy and has a spicy aroma, and can be styled with the special chili pepper 🌶️. It's spicy and delicious, so I ordered a second helping of rice🍚😋 It's quite spicy by default, so if you don't like spicy food, it might be difficult to eat. Chicken rice (Jirohan) The chicken version of rouleau rice is also rare, so I want to come back and try it next time🤔 Jasmine tea will be provided after the meal 😊 I like mellow jasmine tea 👍😎

On my way there, I went to "Shunsai Sakurabai" for lunch, and it was my first visit in a while. Located on the first floor of Okayama Prefectural Seinenkan, close to Hokaiin Station. The inside of the restaurant is spacious, with tables lined up in an orderly manner, and plenty of seats. The menu is extensive, with 3 types of noodles that change daily, and there is a student discount, so even local university students came here! I ordered mapo tofu from among the 3 types that change daily, and it arrived after about 10 minutes of waiting. In addition to the main dish, you can freely refill small dishes, salads, curd, soup, and rice from the thermos ^^ The amount of mapo tofu is quite large, and the balance of minced meat and tofu is good! . It's not that spicy by default, but the spicy miso on a separate plate is super spicy, so it's best to mix it in a little at a time. I poured it over rice halfway through and made it into a mapo bowl (*^^*) Sakurabai is one of the best lunch spots in the Hokaiin area, and the mapo tofu I had this time was also extremely delicious! !

It was so plentiful and tasted delicious that I couldn't help but eat way too much. Also, it was interesting that you could choose coffee or soft serve ice cream at the end of your lunch (^o^) The price is cheap and it's amazing! !
