2023/10/15 After stopping by Nomaru Gardening in Akaiwa, I stopped by during lunch time. [Parking lot] There was a yakiniku restaurant next to it, so I felt like I could park quite a few cars. The store seemed new and I thought it might be a chain store, but... The interior was very Japanese-style and felt like an udon restaurant. As soon as I entered, I saw the udon menu and self-service posted. The staff will ask you about the menu, take your side dishes and rice balls, and then go to the cash register. As for the side dishes, there were many unusual dishes such as fried quail eggs, so I was at a loss. I ended up having shrimp tempura and wakame rice balls lol For the udon, I chose meat udon. The noodles are hand-stretched, so the thickness may vary, but I'm glad it's the one that doesn't have soft corners, which I like. The soup was soy sauce-based and a little sweet and salty, but it went well with the beef and kombu. It was delicious! It was about 1000 yen for 3 items. There are 20 seats at the counter and 3 tables in the tatami room. There were also table seats. The staff are lively and the food is very Japanese-style, but the prices are reasonable. This is a shop I would like to visit again if I am nearby!

The handmade udon noodles are very delicious. I received the kake udon. Oden was very delicious.
