I stopped by this store after passing through Orange Road while touring, and it was very good. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very nice. The soba noodles were simple and very delicious, and the konjac miso sauce had a sweet taste. The signboard cat was also very friendly and cute.

A soba restaurant in Monzen town. The soba is thick, black, and country soba, but you can feel the flavor of the soba, and combined with the simple soup stock, it's no wonder why General Nogi liked it. General Nogi has the image of a strict educator, but since he used to play around when he was young, he may have had a general idea that this type of soba was delicious. The famous Nogi soba is 600 yen, although the price has increased a little. The soba comes with Kinzanji, salted kelp, and pickled vegetables. Miso oden also tastes good. My wife gave me some caramel on the way home. There is also a small souvenir corner, which has a very nice atmosphere.

Zaru Tororo Soba is highly recommended★ Tororo is a sticky Japanese yam. At this point, it's different from the Tororo Soba in the city. I guess there isn't that much of a difference in terms...? Even though it's wild yam, it's cheap and so delicious. The reason why I like this place more than anything is The soup is so delicious. The taste is exquisite whether you mix it with Japanese yam or eat it alone. I want you to go deep into the mountains and eat it. Another thing I would like you to try is Miso oden. Try eating one and thinking you've been fooled. It's sweet and salty and irresistible. You can buy homemade miso. The konjac in the oden is also delicious.
