Very popular and probably the only dining place near the train station. Famous for Goheimochi but miso dengaku and soba noodle were also great. Those are pretty much the menu they have. Take away of Goheimochi is also available.

Delicious soba with hand cut noodles in a rich and tasty broth. The inside of the shop is both interesting and charming. Very much worth a visit.

Even you don't like Gohei Mochi, you should definitely try one here. I believe their Gohei Mochies are the only ones here in Shinshiro which are very authentic and special. I'm sure it's worth coming from all the way here to try one.
