I ate vegetable chashu ramen. It was a gentle soup with a rich flavor that didn't leave you thirsty afterwards. The char siu is exquisite, with great seasoning and fat. It was a nice accent to the ramen.

I had seen it on my regular touring route and was curious about it, but I didn't have any luck with it since it was early in the morning or just before dinner, but this time I turned back because of the rain, so I went in a little after noon. Have gyoza and chashu noodles. I was recommended to eat the gyoza with vinegar and pepper, but in the end I ended up having it with vinegar and soy sauce. Perhaps I really want to eat it with vinegar and pepper, so instead of adding soy sauce, I serve it with vinegar soy sauce, which has a fairly high vinegar ratio. The gyoza wasn't anything special, and I wanted soy sauce. The pork in the pork noodles is thick and has a good balance with the fat, and the soy sauce ramen feels like traditional Chinese soba. But this one was also bland, so I wanted soy sauce. Is it honest from the outside? I thought it would survive because there were no restaurants nearby or competitors, but it turned out to be a good option when I wanted to eat chashu noodles and gyoza.

I wanted to eat gyoza, so I did a search and found this. There were two groups waiting, including this one, at lunch time on Saturday. Gyoza and vegetable grilled pork with soy sauce. Regarding gyoza, the price and quality are far apart in a good way. I went to several famous Gyoza restaurants in Utsunomiya and Hamamatsu, but this one overwhelmingly wins. The garlic is effective and the rice goes well. I wonder how many restaurants in Japan exist where you can get 7 large, exquisite gyoza of this quality for 400 yen. By the way, 11 pieces cost 600 yen, so I'll order that next time. The ramen and grilled pork were excellent, and the soup was delicious♪ The noodles and other ingredients are a step inferior to those at ramen specialty shops! I'm sorry to say that I didn't have such high expectations when I visited, but I was impressed by the overwhelming quality. For now, if you're going to have lunch around Tenryu, this is your only choice.
