This is a roadside "yatai" which is kind of like a food shack or food truck. This particular one is run by a lovely couple who served us salted roasted fish on a stick "ayu" which are little river fish and they are delicious! We also very much enjoyed the roasted mochi. It had a delicious ginger taste to it. Being the big lug I am I happened to injure my biceps just moments before we arrived and the owners provided me with a few frozen towels which provided me with a little relief. It was a great experience!

It was my first time visiting. Gohei mochi was very delicious. Then, we had Enshuyaki and oden. It was my first time to eat Enshuyaki, and it was very delicious. The oden was also really delicious with the taste of the dashi soup! I had a great time talking with the husband, who had a great sense of humor, and his kind wife. I would like to stop by again when I'm nearby. Next time I would like to try the charcoal-grilled fried tofu. It was very delicious. thank you. Thank you for the meal.

Gohei mochi uses good charcoal and has a simple taste. Menu items other than Gohei mochi are also delicious. There is an open space for eating and drinking. There are limited places to eat and drink in the Misakubo area, so if you want to grab something light, this is highly recommended.
