I visited Kashiwaya for the first time because it was highly rated based on my wife's information. At lunchtime, we were shown to a Japanese-style room (chairs and table) on the second floor. I ate the chirashi bowl set meal and the nigiri sushi set meal. It seemed like a dish from a long-established restaurant, and the appearance, taste, and quantity were excellent. At 1,650 yen, I was completely satisfied with the cost performance. The menu was luxurious, with chirashi sushi, various shrimp tempura, chawan mushi, kakitama soup, vinegared dishes, small dishes, and desserts such as coffee jelly, cheesecake, and grape juice. Furthermore, the response from the store's proprietress was impeccable. I found a store that I would like to visit again.

The retro buildings are very inviting and will make you feel like you have traveled back in time. The food was prepared with care and was very delicious.
