Iwata, Shizuoka, Japan｜Shirakabekan

A shop with a local feel, located along the street right next to Shiki Station. I noticed that there were dried persimmons hanging out in the front, so I decided to visit. I wanted to buy seasonal Jiro persimmons. The store is stocked with fresh, locally grown vegetables and fruits at good prices. Iwata can produce delicious vegetables. They also sold various ingredients and local sake. It's quite worth seeing. Apparently you can also enjoy meals here. POPs such as Wagyu beef/Shizuoka Sodachi curry, hamburger set meal, and rice with egg were posted. I would like to try this again if I have a chance.

The rustic local feel is irresistibly wonderful. Bike racks are also available, perfect for biking. I ordered TKG, but the rice is so delicious that even without the eggs, it's good with just pickles.

It is said that the rice is delicious. Add a chasing egg to the egg over rice for 550 yen. The rice was indescribably delicious. There are Kanto-style and Kansai-style soy sauce for egg-cooked rice, and the Kansai-style is sweeter and I personally recommend it.
