Very delicious food, cozy environment and warm hospitality! Although there was some language barrier but the owner and his wife were still very welcoming and nice. As there was only one chef (the owner), the serving of food is a bit slow but we did not mind at all. The pottery crockery found in the restaurant were made by the chef and his wife made some of the wooden craft shown on the wall! A must go restaurant if you are travelling around that area. Happy dining experience!

Despite the language barrier, it was a fantastic dinner experience, the best food we ever had in Japan! Amazingly kind hosts.

When I came from Tokyo by bicycle and stayed at a hotel, I searched for it and it had great reviews, so my boyfriend and I visited without making a reservation! It was very delicious! When I entered the store, no one noticed me, so I said something to them. A friendly father answered the counter. The shop seemed busy, probably run by a married couple. Perhaps because of that, the next item came out around the time I finished eating one item, so I guess the serving time was a bit slow. That's what I thought, but when I looked at the arrangement, I could feel the attention to detail that goes into each and every item. For drinks, I ordered plum wine sour (homemade). When I looked at the lemon that was served with it, it was very fresh and I could tell that they were particular about the ingredients! The plum wine sour had a gentle and elegant taste of my hometown. We also ordered assorted sashimi, shrimp tempura, tuna fish with black pepper, fried tuna, and crab porridge, all of which were more satisfying and delicious than the price. And the price is reasonable! It cost 5,500 yen for two adults to order this much. I was pretty full! If I could come again someday, I would like to eat something that can only be eaten by reservation!
