We went there for lunch and it was really good in a really nice atmosphere. Typical Japanese fish restaurant and the quality of food is just outstanding. Very good value for money and very nice owners.

Although the owner spoke no english he went above and beyond in helping us order food aswell as making a vegetarian meal for my friend. The food was absolutely delicious aswell!

Visited on a trip to Toi Onsen. Although it was Saturday, many restaurants closed their lunch quite early, so it was helpful that this restaurant was open for a long time. Seared horse mackerel set meal (1760 yen including tax) Full of volume and delicious. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the tataki (or rather, more like sashimi) of two horse mackerel is served in a fist-sized portion. It's about four times as much as the tataki you'd order at a regular izakaya... In addition, it comes with dashi soup for ochazuke, which is delicious even if you drink it as it is. I also added a single fried fish item (1100 yen including tax), and when I went there were 4 large fried horse mackerel. (Does it change over time?) This fried horse mackerel is very delicious! I highly recommend it. There seems to be a fried fish set meal, but I wasn't confident that I could eat all 4 fries by myself, so this time we each ordered a set meal and shared the fried fish item. Personally, half the amount of tataki is enough, so I thought it would be popular if there was a set meal with tataki and one fried dish, so please consider it (lol)
