There was a shop selling salt-grilled sweetfish in front of the store, and I passed by it once, but I got curious and went back and entered the shop. The parking lot is large. Not only were there no other customers in the store, it was even before the store opened. The landlady called out to the owner, saying, ``Dad, we're customers,'' and prepared the food for us. I found the famous "Zugani" menu here! ︎ I ordered "Zugani Udon". It was frozen because it wasn't the best time yet, but it had such an indescribable flavor and deliciousness that I ate it all at once. Next time I would like to try the seasonal snowflakes. After eating, I was curious about the sweetfish with roe (¥650) at the store, and when I ate it, I was surprised to find that it had a lot of sweetfish eggs in it. The sweetfish, which was slowly grilled for an hour, had just the right amount of salt and was fluffy and delicious. Natural sweetfish is said to cost ¥1,500 with reservation.

Visited on a recommendation from someone from Shizuoka. A small, izakaya-style store. Tatami room and counter seats. Cash only. It seems to be run by a friendly veteran couple. When I told them the rating was 4.1, they were happy. (lol) There is a parking lot in the back. I had a salt-grilled sweetfish set meal. 1,500 yen. Upgrade to a sweetfish with roe for an additional 150 yen. It had eggs in it and was delicious. At the storefront, charcoal-grilled items are sold on skewers to take home. It seems like a lot of people buy them while driving. It might be good for filling your stomach. Many sweetfish anglers were casting their lines in the nearby Kano River.

Ayu dishes are exquisite. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and I was able to enjoy my meal in a very relaxed atmosphere. There are hidden sweetfish in the miso soup, which gives it a nice flavor.
