I went to see the high evaluation of word of mouth during GW of fine weather. I lined up for a while 20 minutes before opening, but I was able to enter the store third. The inside of the store is larger than the impression from the outside, and the table seats in the tatami room where you take off your shoes. It is a very relaxing space with a Showa retro atmosphere. The menu I received was a limited quantity of "Hanaguruma Bento". A variety of small bowls like makunouchi were beautifully and gorgeously arranged, and they all tasted exquisite! Among them, chawanmushi was impressive with its original ingredients. You can even taste homemade dessert (panna cotta on the day we visited), and 1480 yen is very reasonable and very satisfying! There is no doubt that I will definitely go again ♪

The store feels old, but that's what makes it so nice. There is also a parking lot for 5.6 cars 100m below the store, so you can come by car. I wasn't expecting much from the food at a tourist destination, but it was very delicious and I was very satisfied. I ordered the tempura rice bowl set, and it was enough for even gourmets and big eaters. I visited around 1:30pm, just after noon, and there were other customers, so I think it's a popular restaurant. I will visit again when I come to Shuzenji.

The rice is a bit small, but you can get more. I don't like butterbur, but the butterbur miso made with butterbur is exquisite. It's a little bitter though... The zaru soba was also delicious. There are various condiments...wasabi, shiso, tororo, green onion, grated daikon radish, and white sesame, so you can enjoy a variety of flavors.
