Mishima, Shizuoka, Japan｜Katsugin Mishimakitakamiten

The other day, when I went to the ramen shop "Ichiban-tei" in Shimotsuchigari, there was roast pork prepared by Katsugin, so I went to Katsugin. It is located along the Shizuoka Prefectural Road Mishima Susono Line in the northern part of Mishima City. There are CoCo Ichi, Sukiya, Kentucky, Denny's nearby. There are a lot of bonito menus here, but I had a boiled bonito set meal. The price of set meals such as katsuni set meal is reasonable, but there are many things that you can have as much as you want, so it is more profitable than the price. For example, there are coffee, tea, and shaved ice that you make yourself. In addition, there are black soybean rice, white rice, miso soup with ingredients you put yourself, chawanmushi, shiruko, and furikake. All of these are free to refill when you order a set meal. Recommended.

I went to eat it because a local recommended it to me, and it was the most delicious cutlet I've ever eaten! The fillet was sold out, so I ordered the loin, but I had never eaten such tender loin. Rock salt goes well with it, and the flavor of the sauce is great if you rub it with sesame seeds. The store staff also have a good impression of their courteous customer service. Next time I would like to go early and try the fin. This is a recommended shop.

The fillet cutlet was delicious. I was very satisfied with 3 types of rice, miso soup (many toppings), chawan mushi, pickles (many), salad (many dressings), and milk pudding! I was glad that it was empty when I went around 5pm on a Sunday, but it was crowded by the time I left, so if you want to enjoy the salad bar, I recommend going outside of peak hours. There is also a tatami room, so it is easy to bring children. I don't usually eat out, but this is a restaurant I want to go to once in a while!
