Atami, Shizuoka, Japan｜Le Proust Miura

The staff was so gracious, the food was absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed our meal so much! I forgot to take photos of some courses - I couldn’t stop myself from digging in! We chose a seven-course meal and every bite was amazing! I’d definitely recommend for a lovely night of dining!

One of the best chefs combined with a great sommelier makes for a fantastic dining experience in Atami. The newly built restaurant is intimate & tasteful with friendly service. Attention to detail from decor to ceramics to tableware is evident. Everything about this restaurant works & you have amazing food, great service, and a beautiful view. There is a nice terrace and I hope they open it for drinks or coffee when the weather permits. The sommelier can offer good suggestions for wine pairing or bottles. They have many unusual wines which is fun. Lunch is a bargain starting with four courses at ¥5000. This restaurant is a great addition to the fine dining options in Atami. Japanese is helpful but the staff speaks some English so you can survive. After you eat walk up the hill and enjoy the views & seeing lots of interesting homes too.

I used it for lunch. Whenever I come to Atami, I always eat seafood bowls and seafood set meals, and I get tired of them, but when I come to Atami, I definitely have to try them! I found French👍 It is recommended to make reservations in advance 😆 The customer service, the food, the scenery, and the restaurant are all top-notch ✨ For lunch, I ordered two drinks and had a course that included fish and meat dishes for 9,000 yen. Even though I paid that much, I was really glad I came 🥲 Happy in body and soul.... Since I came by car, I could only drink non-alcoholic drinks, but when I tried the non-alcoholic white wine for the first time, I couldn't help but wonder if there was ever a drink that tasted so delicious. You can arrive at the restaurant at 12:00 and enjoy the food at your leisure until around 2:00 p.m. As for the taste, the dried horse mackerel rillette was light and refreshing, but the flavor was strong and melted in your mouth. I'm surprised how delicious horse mackerel can be when cooked😭 The appetizer is so delicious that I could write so much about it, Please try it first😃 We will make you completely happy in Atami!
