How lovely this place is !! If you’re craving local food and typical experience just go there. No menu, just boards on the wall in Japanese but you can show pictures from google maps or just ask for the excellent Maguro-don 😋😋 the couple who owns the restaurant is so kind and helpful. From what I read, the chef is going every morning to Numazu fishing pier to buy fish. You can feel the freshness and the taste is here !

I recommend the tuna and it was delicious. The proprietress handles the dishes all by herself, so it takes some time to prepare the food, but you can enjoy it while enjoying a drink. I was having a hard time drinking beer and high-quality sake.

This is a recommended shop found in Ohito Onsen. About 2 minutes on foot from Ohito Station. There is a counter and a tatami room. It seems that there is no parking lot. They have a wide variety of rice bowls and set meals. There are too many and I get lost in ordering. Ordered because I was attracted by the name of "Large fried oyster bowl". There were 7 really large and plump fried oysters. With miso soup and pickles, 1000 yen is too much service. It was well seasoned and delicious. Miso soup was also delicious with lots of ingredients. I was surprised that there were so many dishes and items for those who asked for a set meal. It was a really good shop with good amiability and movement of the shop.
