Mishima, Shizuoka, Japan｜Momiji Cafe

Lovely place. Really cozy here. Meat pie and the dessert is a must try. it's up couple of stairs from the street park and the garden in front of the entrance is really lovely with little pond and beautiful momiji(maple), cherry and other Japanese native trees. The owners are so nice and really felt welcome.

Lovely Aussie cafe! I got the lunch set with meat pie & lamington and it was the perfect size despite the inexpensive price. The owners are very nice and welcoming. Being an Aussie myself, the food here made me feel at home. ☺️

I've eaten here twice and both times the food was excellent. I'm vegetarian and the owners were happy to adapt the menu. In fact, they made me a special veggie pie on my second visit, which was delicious! Naturally I tried the lamington and carrot cake, both of which I recommend. The cafe is set in a lovely garden and when the weather is nice you can sit outside. But even sitting inside you can enjoy watching birds visiting a feeder near the window. I really enjoyed this cafe.
