Fujinomiya, Shizuoka, Japan｜Fujisan Shiraito Soba

Great tempura and vegetarian too! Friendly local staff. Might need a little of Japanese skills to chat, but should be able to order by pointing at the photo on the menu ;). Very reasonable pricing and like the view of Fuji-san from here too.

I was looking for a soba restaurant after Shiraito Falls and came by Google search, but the store was full and we had the last soba. After that, customers came one after another, but I left the show. If you don't go early, the soba will be over because it's a popular store. I think the parking lot holds about 7 cars. Soba noodles are a little thick Tempura can be added for 100 yen, and a large serving was +300 yen. There is also udon, so you can choose either. It was so delicious 🙆

On the day I visited, there were about three aunties working there. A nostalgic, slightly thick country soba. The soup and accompanying rice and tempura are also delicious. It was cold so I ordered the kake soba set. Soba alone is also fine. I don't know if it's open every day, but you can buy vegetables, fruits, and side dishes to take home. I think it's best to go before noon, as there are times when things are out of stock on busy days.
