Visited when going to Hakone area. I found this restaurant by chance on the internet, and it was a restaurant that I would definitely want to visit again 😃 All of the dishes had a gentle flavor, and the personality of the chef seemed to shine through. My husband and I visited without a reservation, but they welcomed us pleasantly, and then the person who had made the reservation came and we were enjoying the conversation, which made us think that the locals love us. It has been transmitted. I didn't have much of a plan for this trip, so I was able to take my time and enjoy the food, which made me very happy. If I ever come here again, I would like to make a reservation.

The food and the staff were very kind and warm, making me want to stop by again. No courses, completely a la carte The owner of the restaurant explains the menu carefully, but there are so many delicious-looking menus, from seasonal ingredients to classic items, that I can't decide...lol It took me a long time to choose, but I was happy to be able to eat so many different things ♡ What I am especially happy about is that there are many mini sizes! Pizza can be made into half-size or half-and-half, and gratin and paella also come in small sizes. I think it takes a lot of time to do this, but I think they are doing it because they really put the customer first. I'm so grateful. It's also great that they have seasonal ingredients such as asparagus from Hokkaido, as well as local ingredients such as log shiitake mushrooms and fuki miso. There are only two counter and table seats in the store. On this day, we were told that there was only one other group and the place was fully booked, so reservations are essential. By the way, I didn't know that you had to take off your shoes and change into slippers inside the store, so I ended up wearing sandals with bare feet, which was a big mistake (>_<) You have to be careful in the summer. Also, the origin of the name of the shop is really cool, so be sure to ask about it when you visit ^ ^

I've lived in Gotemba for a year, and this is probably my top recommendation. The customer service at the restaurant is wonderful, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. I look forward to hearing from you again.
