I stopped by on my way home from Hakone on a weekday the other day. This is a soba restaurant located about 5 minutes from Gotemba Interchange. Anyway, it is a shop in an old private house located in a large garden. The garden is filled with stone lanterns and trees. I ordered a mini tempura bowl and soba set. My wife had the Wanko Soba style set. Both were around 1,500 yen. Even though it was raining, we had a great time eating while looking out at the garden. Parking available. It seems to be crowded on Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is limited to junior high school students and above. please note.

This is my second visit. I think the restaurant has a great, relaxing atmosphere and reasonable prices. I'm sorry for the fact that children are not allowed in the store, but I think it's quiet and nice ⭕️ Another person said, ``It's unthinkable that children aren't allowed in stores these days,'' but I think that kind of store is OK. It's an online society, so it's better to do some research beforehand so you don't feel bad.

You can eat while looking out at the beautiful, well-kept garden, and there are counter seats, tatami mats, and table seats. It seemed like you could see the garden from every room. Hime Gozen is a set of mini bamboo steamer and mini tempura bowl, and for an additional 300 yen, you can get a large serving, which is a little less than a single serving, so I went for the large serving. The tempura rice bowl is also crispy and topped with vegetable tempura and shrimp tempura. The soba noodles were smooth and had a nice aroma. The store is open until 2:00 pm, and the signboard states that children over junior high school age and small children are not allowed in, so it's very quiet during meals, so you can't really chat. Still, the soba was very delicious, so next time I would like to visit in the spring, when the flowers in the garden start to bloom.
