Gotemba, Shizuoka, Japan｜Nikutomo

A small but cozy restaurant near the JR Gotemba station. Super valued and traditional Japanese food can be a good choice for passengers. Highly recommend the katsuton (pork chop with rice and egg) and ebi-fry teishoku (deep fried pawn with rice and miso soup).

I ate the katsudon and it was really delicious with a nice thick cutlet and just the right amount of sweetness❣️😋 I'm surprised it's less than 1000 yen for this size✨ The atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxing, like a Japanese restaurant where locals gather.

"Nikutomo" is very popular in Gotemba. Thank you for your warm response, even though I visited just before closing time. The katsudon was full of cutlets and was very delicious and satisfying. As expected, it is the most popular. There are table seats and counter seats in the store, but every seat has a partition to prevent coronavirus.
