Traditional Japan restaurant The Eel rice is making freshly

Long version): Went here as a group of 3 and as a person that eats eel regularly I am now disappointed that the regular places I go to in America can't be up to par anymore // this was the most soft and delicious eel rice dish I've ever had. We ordered the eel rice dish, tamagoyaki, fried squid, chicken wings, squid soup, tuna, and plenty of drinks for ~¥17500 (and we're a group of 3 that can put away a lot of food). It was very delicious and worth the price but FYI none of the three of us ended up full of food, but definitely satiated. The shop owners were very nice and even chatted with us for a bit // they prepared fresh eel (I'm talking they have a tank and when they cut it up it bleeds type fresh) so it will take a while for the food to be ready but the wait is worth it. You can smoke inside the shop and they have reservation seats too for slightly larger groups (would not go in a group of like 7 or more). (Short Version): Delicious eel, squid, and egg dishes that are more for the taste than for filling up on so be prepared to pay a bit more for it but great late night atmosphere and great shop owners // if you're anywhere nearby it's completely worth going to.

Excellent dinner. the eel is succulent, as are all the chef's other suggestions ;-)
