First of all, the atmosphere and the building are taken care of, and it's so wonderful that I want to pay the entrance fee. In particular, the garden seems to be well taken care of by the gardener, and the moss is beautiful, and the fish are swimming in the moat. I had the corn kamameshi. It is very easy to eat and cut, and it goes well with the amount of butter you like. The bowls and teacups were wonderful and I was impressed all the time and couldn't stop taking pictures. I took a friend who came to Hyogo to play, and he was very pleased, and I am proud of it. Next time I would like to eat mackerel pressed sushi.

I ordered the charcoal-grilled chicken kamameshi and chirimen mentaiko kamameshi. They were both delicious. The charcoal-grilled chicken and lemon went perfectly together. All the side dishes are also delicious. The staff gave detailed explanations and it was very enjoyable. There was a nice atmosphere inside the main hall and I enjoyed the food. I would like to visit you again. As mentioned in other people's comments, reservations are required for Kamameshi. Details were posted on Instagram.

Honjin is a place where high-ranking people such as daimyo stayed, and it is said that it was mainly used for Sankinkotai. “Honjin Nanafuku” is a café that renovated the site of Honjin. For meals, there are kamameshi and stick sushi, but please be aware that kamameshi basically requires reservations, and stick sushi sells out quickly depending on the day. We recommend the porch seats where you can relax and enjoy the view of the courtyard. It seems that you can also visit the premises, and there were several groups. It was also used as a location for the movie "Rurouni Kenshin". There is also a parking lot.
