If I could give more stars to atmosphere I would give it 10. Because this place is so peaceful and relaxing- if Muji restaurants/cafes need inspiration for creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere this one is my recommendation. And the food? Very very wholesome and soothing as well. The chef also accommodated my shellfish allergy by switching out the shrimp with a fish tempura. The lady serving us was extremely attentive and communicated with us through phone translations.

What an amazing place! The couple who own are so friendly and kind. They accommodated nicely to my vegetarian husband. Highly recommended!

You can enjoy lunch in a woodland surrounded by nature. The Tamba ware bowls are so cute that I wanted to buy them as souvenirs. The chawanmushi with ankake sauce had a strange taste of Japanese curry in the middle and was fresh. The gentle seasoning is centered around vegetables, so it's filling, but you won't feel guilty. I was very satisfied.
