This is the recommended Sanuki udon restaurant in Suma Ward. There are many Sanuki udon restaurants in Kansai, but this one has a unique taste. The udon noodles have just the right amount of firmness, and the soup stock is soft and well-seasoned. You'll want to drink the dashi soup alone. Also, the batter on the tempura is crispy and it's worth coming here just for the tempura. The dashimaki tamago is also seasoned with a hint of salt, grated daikon radish, and soy sauce for an irresistible flavor. You can choose the seeds for each oden, and they also have rice balls, so it's a good option when you're feeling a bit hungry. My favorite is pork udon, which is only available during the winter season (late November to early March). The rich ramen-like soup is filled with plenty of pork, and goes well with the sharp flavor of ginger, making it very delicious. The kids loved the taste too. Also, since it is built on a hill, the scenery is outstanding, and you can even see Akashi Kaikyo Bridge in the distance. Last order was a little early at 7:45pm.
