Onomichi, Hiroshima, Japan｜Shikitei

Visited for lunch. I visited earlier than the reservation, but I was able to respond quickly. I ordered Mihara Yassa octopus sashimi (single item), seafood hitsumabushi, and sea bream chazuke rice bowl. The hitsumabushi and sea bream chazuke were first given a lecture on how to eat them, and I actually ate them. Everything was fresh and delicious, but is it seaweed with seafood hitsumabushi? Eating it with plenty of grated yam is refreshing and very impressive. Around noon, the number of people increased, but the overall atmosphere was calm and I would like to visit again if I had the opportunity.

Today, the vegetable soba was the main dish. On top of being full, there was also fresh sashimi, and it was full of benefits such as jakomeshi and chawanmushi. It was delicious. Nice vessel too. Conger eel hitsumabushi gozen. At first we ate it as is, then we topped it with grated yam, and finally we had it served with soup stock. Drinks after the meal were free. The skin of the conger eel was crispy. It was very delicious.
