We went there on weekends when it was little crowded however, the waiting time was not so bad (around 30min). There was a small corner where you can buy Yamajio (translate to mountain salt), locally grown peanuts and apples for souvenirs.
Yamashio ramen is generally delicious, but the Yamashio ramen here is especially delicious❣️ Aizuyama salt is a mild salt with little harshness, so the ramen soup is also very mild. If you like light ramen, you will be hooked w The noodles are Kitakata medium-thick, and the toppings are green onions, bamboo shoots, and char siu. The most notable thing is the char siu! ️ The seasoning does not interfere with the ramen soup, and it is just the right amount of creaminess. It goes well with ramen soup and noodles. Yamashio Ramen is 900 yen and Yamashio Char Siu is 1200 yen, and the price has increased by 200 yen.
I came to the store after 11 o'clock on the middle day of a 3-day holiday. It was already full and there were two people waiting in front of us. I think the turnover is fast because I was able to get through the store in about 10 minutes. I ordered the Aizu Yamashio ramen and the mini chashu bowl set. The ramen was light, but had a deep flavor. The noodles were medium-thick curly noodles that went well with the soup and were very delicious! The char siu bowl is topped with grilled char siu, green onions, and a hot spring egg. The taste is bland if eaten as is, so sprinkle the included mountain salt to your liking. This is also delicious! Recommended!
