My husband and I discovered this little gem on our road trip adventure to explore Urubandai. We unfortunately cannot speak much Japanese, however - we were warmly greeted by the two loveliest ladies who made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The setting is warm and cosy, the food was comforting and delicious, with fresh wild vegetables from the chef’s garden outside. We loved our experience here and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! ❤️

It was a place where the "concept" of a wonderful rural life turned into a shop. Everything is delicious and nice There was a stinkbug, so when I told the lady at the store, she just said, "Oh, please don't touch it. It's going to stink." maybe. Even with that in mind, the store was too nice.

The restaurant is on the mountainside behind the bandai in the road station. It is a wooden European-style building. We were greeted by a very energetic old woman. The interior decoration of the restaurant is very exquisite, as if you are in Europe. The silky chickens outside the window are cooing vigorously, which is a natural and healing environment. On weekdays, I seem to only cook lunch plates. Today’s dishes are lasagna, chicken liver pate bread, potato egg pie, and vegetables from the garden. I also ordered "berry tea from the garden". Everything is very delicious and very delicious. There is a kind of magical garden vegetable that is unique. I regret not writing down the name. After finishing the meal, the old woman treated us to some meringue. I rarely eat meringue, after all, it’s just egg white😅, but here it’s mixed with some grains, so it tastes particularly fragrant and the favorability level is even higher. . After chatting with the old woman, I was surprised that she did all this by herself. From growing vegetables, raising chickens, cooking to making desserts, she did everything without relying on others. Every winter she went to Florence to teach Japanese culture. She is so active that she is 87 years old, which is really scary! If I have a chance, I really want to come here to eat on the weekend and see the set meal she and her son made together! (You need to make a reservation 2 days in advance, and it is also recommended to make a reservation for weekday lunch)
