Kaizu, Gifu, Japan｜Kashiwaya

It was open at night during the Tsukinami Festival, and while other stores had long lines, I was able to get in without having to wait. There were table seats and a tatami room in the back, each with a TV so I could watch something. I was able to eat in a calm atmosphere. All the staff members were nice. The recommended salt-grilled sweetfish was very delicious. We also had the miso cutlet set meal and the nabeyaki udon set meal, and the taste was amazing. I thought the price was reasonable in this day and age.

I ordered a miso cutlet set meal and a fried shrimp set meal! I was grateful that the miso cutlet was cut thinly for my parents who have bad teeth! The shrimp are also huge was delicious! Another review said that the sea bream soup was just miso soup, but I found something that looked like fish bones in the miso soup, so I think the soup was made from the sea bream!

The price was reasonable and the portion was perfect. The soba soup was sweet and I personally liked it. The staff at the store may not be able to hear you unless you call loudly. Since I went with two friends, I asked them to add one more fried shrimp to the price, but they kindly agreed, and I was very grateful. I hope the mayonnaise doesn't run out next time (lol)
