Nagahama, Shiga, Japan｜Fukudaya

Fabulous! Every bite is delicious. The soup is so flavorful and the noodles are great. Nabeyaki udon is my recommendation but the kitsune udon soups is equally delicious. Oh and they will do grated ginger and negi with just noodles for anyone who is vegetarian.

It would be the best. I've eaten at many places, but Fukudaya is by far the best. I casually ordered Chinese noodles. A blow landed in the head. Simple but deep flavor. A deep, plain flavor that has nothing to do with flavor. Each member of my family ordered a different dish and tasted them all, and they were all delicious enough to make us want to groan. That's crazy. My family ate udon, oyakodon, and stew ramen, but all of them were so delicious that in my mind, after slurping up the glowing noodles, I grew into a giant, ran across the surface of the Fuji Five Lakes, climbed Mt. Fuji, and jumped from the top. While doing breaststroke in space, I exclaimed how delicious it was. Both the landlady and the general manager are very nice people. I envy the people of Shiga Prefecture.

This is my first visit today. Nabeyaki ramen, small rice, and macaroni salad from the refrigerator shelf. Nabeyaki ramen is delicious with chicken broth 🤗
