From November, sweetfish will be replaced by amago and char. It wasn't on the menu, but for some reason there was a huge soft-shelled turtle in the fish tank outside.

It was my first time to eat sweetfish sashimi, and it was very sweet and delicious. I never thought river fish could be so delicious. The sweetfish porridge was also delicious.

It was my first time visiting. I didn't have a reservation, but I was shown to a seat right away. I had the char set meal and salt-grilled eel. A total of seven chars came out: sashimi, candied simmered, salt-grilled, miso-grilled, and fried. There were many wild vegetables in the kuchitori and tempura, and the seasoning was very delicious for my wife and I. The first time I saw the grilled eel on the menu, I couldn't help but order it.It was also rich in oil, the skin was crispy, and the meat was fluffy.It was very delicious. You can ask for ponzu sauce and soy sauce for the salt-grilled eel, but my husband liked the ponzu sauce and I liked the salty flavor. I couldn't finish all the food, but they were selling take-out containers, rubber bands, and plastic bags for 10 yen. I thought it was a very good idea. I would like to visit again in the summer to try some sweetfish dishes. I'm looking forward to it now.
