Ogaki, Gifu, Japan｜シャントウ

Today, I'm going to visit [Chinese restaurant Shantou] in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture, which currently has a Tabelog rating of 3.50. There is a parking lot in front of the store that feels like a communal parking lot, but Mr. Shantou says that there are only 4 parking spaces in front of the store. I didn't get the impression that the store was open from the outside, but I visited after seeing the sign saying it was open. A neat little shop. Ordered ``Large size of Dandan noodles and gyoza'' which has a proud taste❗ If you order a large portion of Dandan noodles, it will be 2 balls of noodles. Dandan noodles are apparently made with homemade Shiba soy sauce and chili oil. It's not a muddy soup, but it's smooth, spicy, and slightly sour, and it's very delicious with a good amount of seasoning. The skin of the gyoza is chewy and crispy. If you want to eat really delicious Chinese food, please come to Shantou. The shop is clean and the cooking staff is polite.

This was my first visit since they moved to this location. I was curious about the name, so when I asked, I was told that it used to be in Tarui. The seats in the shop are counter seats, 4-seat tables x 2, and 2-seat tables. As other people have said, there are few parking lots and seats available... If you know the previous shop, you may feel sorry. . However, the taste is excellent! Even if you have to wait in line or avoid the crowds, it's a taste you don't want to give up. When you have a cold, it's all about Chen mapo tofu! The inside of my mouth was numb, and the umami of the soy sauce was the best! In addition, I ordered gyoza, tantan noodles, green pepper meat bowl, and dry tianjin rice, but the tantan noodles have a refreshing sour taste, and the spiciness is mild, so I think it's okay for those who don't like spicy. The rice comes with soup, but the taste of the side dish goes beyond the level of the side dish. However, I ordered the dry Tenshin rice after Chen Mapo tofu, so I couldn't check the taste properly (laughs). A truly delicious Chinese restaurant that is not just a dish that looks eccentric.
