Great food, great wine, great people

My wife and I went to lunch for the first time as a treat from our daughter. Lunch starts at 3,000 yen, so I think it's a good value for money. This time, the main course was beef stew in wine, but next time I would like to try something else.

A small bistro run by a pleasant couple. Last time I had duck. I love duck dishes, and out of all the things I've tried, the duck confit from this restaurant is my favorite. This time I had a lunch course for 4500 yen. For the fish dish, we had red sea bream steamed in white wine, and for the meat dish, we had the recommended stew of beef cheek. The red sea bream looks fresh, has no odor, and is steamed gently, making it an exquisite dish. The cheek meat was surprisingly soft and stewed and very delicious. Everything you eat, from appetizers to desserts, will be delicious and satisfying. Apart from the food, I especially like the homemade baguette here. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, this baguette tastes better than the one from the bakery. The customer service was good, and at the end, the couple was all together to see them off. You'll feel great from start to finish. We also recommend the take-out hors d'oeuvres, which are rich in content and beautifully presented.
