Tajimi, Gifu, Japan｜Cafe Rest UENO

I was nearby for work, so I looked it up on the internet and went to Cafe Restaurant Ueno for lunch on a weekday. The location is in a corner of a shopping district, about a few minutes walk from the south exit of Tajimi Station. There are blackboards with menus written on them at the front of the store, so you can feel at ease. The restaurant was founded in 1978, so it's quite old, but it's spacious overall, with about eight tables and a few counter seats by the window. It was late, just after 1:30 p.m., so the customers who had lunch had just finished leaving. Since this was my first visit, I ordered the standard daily lunch (800 yen) with a large bowl of rice (100 yen). Today's daily lunch side dishes listed on the blackboard in front of the store are chicken frites, saikyo-yaki fish, shrimp chili sauce, hiyayakko (chilled tofu), potato salad, and thick-fried egg, along with rice and red soup stock, all of which are quite large! It wasn't like I had to choose from these, but they all came out on the tray! It's an amazing type of side dish (^-^) And it's delicious! If you first get the red soup stock with lots of ingredients, the soup stock will be effective and delicious! A large bowl of rice is also served in a small bowl, so the total price of 900 yen is worth it! It's open not only during lunch time but also until 6pm, so you don't have to worry about a late lunch! There is a wide variety of menu items and the overall value is good, so this restaurant is suitable for everyone, from families to men who eat a lot.

I made it a daily set meal. There were a lot of pre-made side dishes, so I would like to order a different menu next time. I want to eat piping hot, freshly fried food. . . There are many menu items that will appeal to you. I want to repeat it a lot from now on.

I really wanted to eat omelet rice, so I stopped by on Monday afternoon. It tasted as expected! I wanted to eat something like this, and I'm very satisfied. I took my mother for the first time, and I had a hamburger curry. It was quite crowded at lunchtime and luckily the seats were open. I was grateful that the customer service was polite. I would like to try another menu.
