This Ramen shop was built in 1950's and they maintain their taste. Maybe this ramen is the best one i've ever tasted! It's little far from city proper but if you plan to go here there are nearby Temples you can visit for picture. The staff can't speak english so if you want to order just say one ramen and they will understand it. And the price is so cheap! You cant beat the taste and the price! For ramen lovers, this place is for you!

After going around Mt. Meio, Mt. Konpira, and Mt. Shiroyama in Seki City, I refueled my life at Sakanma Fudo Gokuraku Chaya at the trailhead. At the store front, Chinese noodles were the most popular and Gomoku rice was recommended, so I ordered that set. Chinese noodles are only 500 yen! It has an old-fashioned taste just like the picture. The green onions are chopped into slightly larger pieces, giving it a wonderful texture. This is something I don't normally pay attention to, but I guess they are probably getting good green onions. Gomoku rice is 300 yen for regular rice, and 200 yen for small one in the image. I serve a large amount of rice in a women's bowl. This is a bit of a surprise. It looks like gomoku rice, and the taste is somewhere between that of inari sushi. Is it common around there? I also use good carrots! The shop also had sweet sake, oden (all 100 yen), and shaved ice, making it a friendly shop for people visiting Mt. I found my favorite place! I will definitely come again! I love miso oden! Chinese soba 500 yen is the best Char siu is delicious! I was moved when I remembered the yakitori, or rather, the char siu that was in the ramen at the izakaya that my grandpa used to like, Nagaya. Gomoku rice is also delicious Next time I'll try zaru soba or char siu noodles
