Seki, Gifu, Japan｜Wakyoan

The lunchtime Ariki Gozen is 1,500 yen, which is good value for money. The food is quick and there's nothing to say about it. It seems that you can only eat it here and in Kyoto, so I will definitely come back again. The customer service, including the part-time workers, is good. In particular, the general and landlady are cheerful and likable. The signboard dogs, Soala-chan and Hinna-chan, have been promoted to manager and deputy manager of Wansoan.

In February, I received the limited-time seasonal soba "Spring Cabbage and Clam Egg Tojiseiro." I ordered 100 percent soba for an additional charge. Eat cold soba noodles while dipping them in piping hot soup stock. The soup stock was very good and delicious. Finally, I diluted it with soba hot water and drank it, which was also great.

Not only can you eat Kyoto soba here, but the tempura is also crispy and elegant. It's a very old-fashioned style of eating with salt, and it's a style that suggests that you have confidence in the tempura and the ingredients. "Of course it's delicious." As for the soba noodles, I was very impressed with the chewy texture and well-flavoured soup.
