Amazing food and drinks. The chicken was super juicy and probably the best karaage I’ve ever had. Great service as well! Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

Used for dinner. Kawaakari is a chicken restaurant located in Unuma, Kakamigahara City. A rare Nagoya Cochin specialty store in Gifu. Order a la carte. The menu includes Cochin shumai, Cochin stone grill, Cochin grilled ponzu sauce, Cochin skewers, Cochin skin skewers, Cochin meatball skewers, conger conger and fried eggplant with sleet, creamed corn tofu, and braised pork. All are good! The flavor of Nagoya Cochin is well expressed. You can clearly tell that it is different from ordinary chicken. Furthermore, the a la carte dishes other than Nagoya Cochin are also of high quality. The corn cream tofu is especially delicious. A famous restaurant appears in an unexpected place. The building is beautiful, so it's perfect for drinking parties. Also recommended for dates!

Visited on the recommendation of the hotel concierge. A shop in Nagoya Cochin. It may seem expensive when you think of it as yakitori, but it's not expensive when you think of it as a Nagoya Cochin restaurant. Shumai and Ishiyaki have the strength of umami and good texture that are unique to Nagoya Cochin, so it is only a two-piece signboard. Tsukune was also very good, but it didn't feel very Cochin-like, so if the shopkeeper here can make something similar with ordinary chicken. However, it was very delicious (second time) Corn tofu (actually it's more like mousse than tofu) is like eating smooth corn potage. One of the shops I want to revisit.
