Kani, Gifu, Japan｜Tororo meshi Man'yō

In a special feature of a credit company's information magazine, "Grated yam" caught my eye (because I originally like grated yam), and I was on the way from the Kansai area to the Nagano area on the Chuo Expressway. After getting off the train, we had lunch and the Manyo Gozen. It's a little expensive for lunch, but three cups of barley rice and special ingredients. The quality and feeling of fullness make you wonder if you can skip dinner. I remembered my grandfather's favorite saying, "Tororo is medicine for the stomach and intestines."

I went in with my wife for lunch, and as we started eating, I thought there would be only the two of us, but we were surprised to find that there was a good table! The food was very delicious with rich yam, and the Hida beef was also luxurious. There were seasonal bamboo shoots in the dishes, but the nearby Wisteria bamboo shoots from Takenami are soft and very delicious, so I thought it would be even more delicious if I could incorporate some of them! Overall, it was delicious for both of us!

The shop has a very relaxing atmosphere. I visited for lunch and had rice with grated yam in the countryside. It was delicious. The scenery around the store was also nice with a lot of greenery, so I was healed.
