A shop that serves creative Japanese food and cakes in a repurposed old folk house with an amazing atmosphere and shocking cost performance. We recommend using it not only at night but also as a cafe. I think it's quite a famous store. I was looking for a restaurant to have dinner with my relatives, and we came across ``Hanai'' in Oze City, Gifu Prefecture. This restaurant used to be ``Ukiyo Unosato,'' which opened in 1955 near Umebayashi Park in Gifu City, and opened as ``Hanai'' in a renovated old folk house built over 100 years ago in Kose, Seki City. It seems that the previous store was designated as a landslide warning area and there was a risk of ``collapse on a steep slope'', so they moved to this property that was on the market in 2016. Park your car in the parking lot, go through the gate, look for the entrance, and walk 20 to 30 meters all the way to the entrance. This mysterious structure is also the result of reusing an old folk house. Because it is an old-fashioned building, the site is large and over 1,000 tsubo. The larger the site, the larger the building. Although it is located along National Route 156, it is amazing how the atmosphere changes once you pass through the gate. I visited with a reservation, but the rest of the place was full. Reservations are essential to ensure your visit. When you take a seat and look at the menu, you will be surprised at how cheap the prices are. Even dinner time is very reasonable at 2,000 to 3,000 yen. I ordered pork ginger which cost about 2,000 yen. At first, I imagined the food to be cheap or bad. However, the food served starts with pre-meal juice, obanzai (everyday side dish in Kyoto), salad, soup, rice, and the main course, pork ginger, which will definitely cost you more than 5,000 yen if you live in Tokyo. The volume that would be. And it's absolutely delicious. Finally, for dessert after the meal, we were served chilled millet sweets called chilled millet zenzai. It is a shop full of charm that has a wonderful atmosphere and the best value for money, and once you go there, you will become a regular. I will have more opportunities to come to Gifu from now on, so I would definitely like to visit again.

Depending on what you order, you may also get a salad 🥗 There were also individual pizza items, and there were things that kids liked too. There weren't many types of alcoholic beverages, but there were many homemade soft drinks. There are no private rooms inside the store, but there are many customers and it's lively, so you don't have to worry about bringing children. There were many customers including families with children of elementary school age and couples. The parking lot is large, so it doesn't seem to be a problem even if you don't carpool. They also have shaved ice and cake, so I'd like to go there for lunch too 🍰🍧
