Gujo, Gifu, Japan｜Kamagataki waterfall Chaya

Small restaurant complex, mostly open air, halfway up a mountain. The scenery and atmosphere are absolutely amazing, one of the nicest experiences I’ve had at a restaurant here. The food is nagashi soumen, which is a nice novelty if it’s your first time to have noodles swirling around in pipes embedded in your table. It’s cheap too, all you can eat noodles was only 1000. You can also get a barbecue going if that takes your fancy, and have a few beers as well. Make sure to have a look along the mountain path alongside the restaurant once you’re done, it’s definitely worth it.

ilove the place scenery,you feel the fresh air,the sound of water is relaxing..the food is so yummy. we enjoy the fishing with my friend..the staff here is very kind accommodating.

A very immersive and local experience, kinda expensive but it's worth it. During autumm they serve the soumen with hot pot, delicious!
