Very cozy and welcoming restaurant in Gujo Hachiman. The food was delicious and local. One of the best reasons to visit small towns is to enjoy this kind of food and atmosphere. Didn’t have an English menu but knowing some Japanese helped us. They recommended us what to eat and we were extremely happy with the food. Very recommended!

We had Kei-chan's set meal with plenty of green onions for 1000 yen, draft beer for 680 yen, 2 small bowls for 350 yen, and Okumino Hojo Daiginjo draft for 800 yen. It is very delicious and has a large volume, so I am very satisfied. I was able to have a good time by having them all baked. Kei in "Kei-chan" is a chicken. It is a local Gifu dish of chicken marinated in miso, salt, soy sauce, and other sauces and grilled in a special pot. With its cooking method, good way of eating, and good visuals, if you think that it is a dish that is familiar to the people of Hokkaido, it should be so. It is also convinced that there is a sense of déjà vu. Local supermarkets have chicken corners, where various packages are lined up, but the main product is miso. The base of this shop is exactly miso flavor. As for the vegetables to be grilled together, it seems that cabbage is usually the same as Genghis Khan, but this time I chose “plenty of green onions”. When you open the lid of the pot, you will be excited to see the heap of green onions that appear. Under the green onion mountain, there are chicken, cabbage, carrots, and onions. I ate this while grilling it myself, but according to the store staff, it seems that it is not allowed to overcook it. , In the end, they grilled everything, and thanks to that, I was able to eat it in the best condition, with the green onions almost half-cooked and the chicken barely cooked. Kei-chan's taste is very elegant and has just the right amount of salt. Beer goes on. It's hard to believe that Genghis Khan has its roots, and it's a stylish dish from a visual point of view, but it's clearly the store's competence. Both rice and red miso miso soup with lots of ingredients are GOOD. It's good not only for the taste and appearance, but also for the fact that the volume is properly secured. Also, I tried sprinkling rock seaweed (?) on the rice, and sprinkling hail on the salad. Okumino Bojo Daiginjo is recommended by the store staff. Local sake from Gujo that is not on the menu. This was also very good, and when I thought I wanted something a little side dish, I don't remember how I ordered it, but I was able to get a perfect menu for 350 yen for two small bowls. Not only the taste, but also the appearance that you can feel the thoughtfulness, the volume and cost performance are good, and I was able to enjoy all the items very deliciously. Unfortunately, the shop is a little far away. If it's about 1100km closer, there's nothing to say, but it can't be helped. Gujo Hachiman, or rather, I really envy people who live within walking distance.

When I googled it for dinner, I found it to be the right restaurant! The chicken set meal is the same price as lunch and is very cost-effective. The chicken set meal with green onions is 1000 yen, and the chicken set meal with garlic is 1050 yen. There seems to be no parking lot. I'd like to go there again.
