An eel restaurant near the roadside station Heisei. I've been curious about this for a long time, so I finally got around to it. Recommended for those who like crispy grilled eel on the outside and light sauce. I think the price is also cheap. Depending on the season, you can also eat river fish, so I'll be visiting again.

I had a job in this area and was looking for a restaurant and found this place. There was a sign that said it was an "eel restaurant," but when I read other people's reviews, I found out that there was something other than eel on the menu, so I stopped by. It's about a minute away from the roadside station. You can easily recognize it because it has an eel flag. There is a parking lot opposite the entrance of the store, and if you can park in parallel, you can probably park about 6 to 8 cars. I was a little nervous when I entered the store, and it turned out to be a private restaurant. There are several counter seats and one tatami room. It's a small store. I checked the menu and ordered the katsudon this time. It was very delicious with a crispy and crisp cutlet. Eel is good, but I think there are other options other than eel as well. It seems that they are open at night as well, and they have a menu that looks like it could be a side dish to go with alcohol. I'm jealous of the locals! It may be crowded on Saturdays and Sundays, but lunch on weekdays may be a good time to visit. If you're in the area, please give it a try.

Since I came to Seki, I went to Marutoya, which was recommended by a friend. I ordered eel bowl. The eel comes in two tiers and is well-cooked, and the price is reasonable as it comes with sashimi, liver soup, and pickles. I highly recommend it because the taste and price don't match in a good way. If you come to Seki, please visit this shop at least once.
